The canopy walk is a series of suspension bridges overlooking the rainforest among treetops of Taman Negara National Park, located 1.7km from Park Headquarters via boardwalk trail. One of the longest in the country, the canopy walk spans 530 meters in length; the narrow wooden walkway is strung together in pieces by ropes and supported by steel frames and cables that wind around the jungle canopy.
The entire system rises up to an average height of 50 meters off the ground. This provides for a dramatic view of the forest landscape from high above, a position normally reserved only birds, squirrels and monkeys. Open Saturday to Thursday from morning till late afternoon, a small ticket fee is charged at the entrance.
