Mutiara Taman Negara Resort is the only hotel within the national park, providing modern budget accommodation in rustic jungle lodges that overlook the river or rainforest. At Kuala Tahan, the two largest hotels are Rainforest Resort and Woodland Resort, both within moderate walking distance to the jetty, but van transfers for guests are usually available at certain hours during the day.
Even while staying at Kuala Tahan, it's easy to commute across the river by water taxi (MYR1 per trip). These boats also operate from early morning till late night (11pm), so you won't be stranded at odd hours if your accommodation lies at Kuala Tahan.
