Pantai Morib is a holiday beach destination near Banting, about 30km north of Bagan Lalang. Almost the entire seafront has been converted into an esplanade, with an actual beachfront only at east side. Still, Pantai Morib remains popular with families and couples, as the recreational park here is spacious and equipped with excellent facilities, including gazebos, playgrounds, walkways and a food court.
Historically, Pantai Morib was one of the major landing grounds for Allied liberation forces during World War II, specifically 46 Indian Beach Group that consisted of 42,651 personnel and 3,968 vehicles, as part of Operation Zipper. The invasion never actually transpired, as Japan surrendered shortly after the atomic bombs dropped. A small monument marks the landing along the beachfront.
