Sekinchan

Sabak Bernam

Sekinchan is an agricultural town located at Sabak Bernam in Selangor, about 30km north of Kuala Selangor or 75km from Petaling Jaya. One of the largest rice-producing regions in Malaysia, Sekinchan is famed for its picturesque paddy fields. Over here, visitors can explore a factory and museum dedicated to this grain, along with a tradional Chinese biscuit shop with antique gallery called 'Ah Ma's House'.

Also located along Sekinchan's coast is Pantai Redang, a popular beach for kite-flying activities lined with markets and hawker stalls with a fishing wharf (Bagan) next door. Other tourist attractions include Mango King - a famous fruit stall specialising in mangoes, SKC 3D Art Gallery (trick art museum), Nan Tian Chinese Temple and various seafood restaurants in town.
