Bukit Pelindung is a forest reserve at Teluk Cempedak, accessible from a housing area along Jalan Pelindung or the beach itself (along the boardwalk to Teluk Tongkang). The hill is a popular recreational ground for city folks, offering a small network of trails through the 10-hectare rainforest with a view of the city near the peak.
The primary entrance can be reached by taking the exit to left afer Tengku Ampuan Afzan Secondary School, then following the road through bungalows until the Forestry Office Quarters is reached. The road leads all the way up to a telecommunication tower on the peak. Open daily, entrance is free to public with limited park facilities like gazebos and benches provided.
