Rainbow Waterfall is a large waterfall hidden in the rainforest region of Sungai Lembing, accessible by a 4WD vehicle ride and hiking from town. Dropping down a dramatic 150-meter high cliff, the cascade creates a rainbow seen above the pool below in the right lighting conditions - usually around 10am when the sky is clear and the sun shines brightly.
The trip begins with an open-air ride behind a 4WD truck that traverses muddy forest terrain for an hour before stopping at the trailhead. Crossing the river, the trek then takes about 30-45 minutes.
