Kuantan City

Kuantan is Pahang's capital city that is home to half a million people - a busy economic zone lined with modern streets and rising commercial development. While lacking large densities of skyscrapers, Kuantan is still one of the biggest urban centers in Malaysia, connected by a vast network of roads streaming from north, south and west of the Peninsular.

As a gateway to popular beach spots along Pahang's east coast, such as Teluk Cempedak, Pantai Balok and Cherating, the city provides quick access by major roads to these tourist destinations, along with a large number of hotels providing both budget and luxury accommodation.
